SMUK

SMUK is an emerging fashion brand that creates minimalist tote bags and clutches using very unique leather material. Made out of genuine leather, the simplicity and elegance of this material create the illusion of fragile paper. Departing from this one-of-a-kind texture, we came up with a very playful yet romantic concept for this fashion shoot. To portray the sensual side of the manic dream girl, we created a laid-back style, with a natural setting and daylight. We wanted to take the glamour out of fashion photography and capture a realistic fantasy. We used film photography and left in little details that reveal the context.
